process measurement and automation, having proprietary technology, facing slow-down in growth and effectiveness; Wanting to leverage its credentials, potential and strengths to grow.
OD Initiative: Over 3 years, Cosmic Management Services facilitated: alignment of human resources through initiatives in collective learning; process refinement and stream-lining of operations; articulation of vision, mission, policy; systems led business effort which enabled it to successfully address increasing customer expectation; expand its product and services base; develop responses to employee attrition; enhance quality; improve associate-managerial confidence in preparation for its global ambitions.

Background: Private Limited Company, in existence for 25 years, engaged in hydro-power construction projects, facing winds of change in transacting business, increasing customer expectations and wanting to use its strengths for leveraging enormous business potential in existence.
OD Initiative: Cosmic Management Services facilitated a program for Directors and Senior Managers on 'Contemplating Today, For Building Our Tomorrow', which prompted safety, quality and compensation related initiatives in the first wave, and more structured efforts for organization-wide professionalization, standardization and collaboration, through strategic interventions in the second wave. The third wave of techno-structural changes is being currently facilitated.

Training Solution: Cosmic Management Services organized a customized, 2-day training event, at an offsite location for leadership skills development. Experiential approaches for facilitation of learning, viz. Structured Reflection, Group Activity, Role-Play and Exercises, were used to develop usable and demonstrable leadership skills in the participants. This was aimed at fulfilling the need for: Appreciating leadership in business, times of challenge and change; distilling the constituent elements of good leadership;and, developing an appreciation of skills, to take lead.

Training Solution:
Cosmic Management Services organized a customized three day workshop/
program which introduced the participants to the behavioral, social and cultural expectations of their company and also facilitated appreciation of Communication, Presentation, Meeting, Team Building Skills required; mapping of the requisite competencies development trajectory. The workshop/program culminated in an alignment, bonding exercise for all the new and old associates.
